THE CHALLENGE
THE CHALLENGE
Nigeria is facing one of the most difficult periods in its history.
Innocent lives are being lost to violence almost daily.
Our security personnel are under immense pressure as they confront growing and complex security threats.
Countless families have lost their livelihoods, while many have been plunged into severe financial hardship after paying kidnappers' ransoms.
Victims of abduction are often subjected to horrific torture, abuse, and, in many cases, sexual violence while in captivity.
Families are being torn apart, leaving many children orphaned and countless others traumatised.
Entire communities have been displaced, forcing many to live in constant fear and uncertainty.
Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps continue to grow as thousands are forced to flee their homes, many with little or no means of survival.
If these challenges remain unchecked, the consequences could become even more devastating. Desperation can fuel crime, instability, and further insecurity, especially among young people who see no hope for the future.
The list goes on, and the pain is difficult to put into words.
If care is not taken and solution secured, soon things may degenerate into a civil war. Where would we go?
Nigerian is our home. We have no other nation to call our own.
Rather than surrender to fear or despair, it is time for the Church to rise in united, fervent, and persistent prayer for Nigeria.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. - James 5:16 KJV
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. - Romans 10:13 KJV
